Using The Storefront
These terms apply when you browse mal.lk, create an account, place an order, use plant care tools, subscribe to updates, or contact support.
Please use the storefront lawfully, keep account details accurate, and protect your login details. We may limit access where fraud, abuse, or security risk is suspected.
Products And Availability
Live plants naturally vary in size, leaf shape, color, patterning, and maturity. Product photos and descriptions are guides, not a guarantee that every plant will look identical.
Stock, prices, promotions, delivery availability, and product details may change. If an item becomes unavailable after purchase, we will contact you about substitution, delay, refund, or cancellation options.
Orders And Payment
Orders are confirmed after checkout is completed and payment or cash-on-delivery selection is accepted. We may reject or cancel orders that appear fraudulent, incomplete, incorrectly priced, or impossible to fulfill.
Online payments are processed through payment providers such as PayHere where available. Cash on delivery may be limited by district, order value, product type, or operational conditions.
Delivery
Delivery windows, delivery fees, and courier availability may vary by district, order size, weather, stock location, and checkout selection.
You are responsible for providing accurate delivery details and being reachable during delivery. Failed or delayed delivery caused by incorrect details, restricted access, or missed contact may require rescheduling fees.
Returns And Plant Promise
Because live plants are perishable, change-of-mind returns may not be available. If a plant arrives damaged or stressed, contact us promptly with photos and your order details.
Where the 30-day plant support promise applies, we may offer recovery guidance. Replacement, refund, or another resolution for arrival damage depends on timely evidence, care conditions, product type, and review.
Gift Cards And Promotions
Gift cards, discount codes, delivery offers, and promotional bundles may have eligibility rules, expiry dates, usage limits, and exclusions.
Promotions cannot always be combined and may be corrected or withdrawn if there is a technical error, misuse, or obvious pricing mistake.
Reviews, Support, And User Content
If you submit reviews, support cases, photos, messages, or feedback, you confirm that the content is accurate to your experience and does not infringe another person's rights.
We may moderate, remove, or decline content that is abusive, misleading, unlawful, spam, or unrelated to the product or support request.
Plant Care And AI Guidance
Care notes, Plant Matcher, Plant Doctor, and AI-generated guidance are informational tools. They do not replace professional advice for health, safety, toxicology, pests, building conditions, or specialist horticultural problems.
You remain responsible for checking plant suitability for your home, pets, children, light, humidity, watering habits, and available care time.
Limits And Contact
To the extent allowed by law, mal.lk is not responsible for indirect losses, avoidable plant decline after delivery, misuse of products, incorrect care conditions, or service interruptions outside our reasonable control.
